What's My Homepark?

Ok, here is my question:
I live in GSP South Carolina. I have Paramount Carowinds a hour and a half away and I have SFoG 2 hours away. I visit both parks regularly and evenly. So which is my true homepark?

Both. You can have two true home parks. But maybe if you don't believe that, which park do you feel more emotionally attached too? 2 home parks are better than one!

You don't have to live by your home park for it to actually be your home park. It's not unheard of for someone living on the east coast to call a California park their "home park."

I agree -- Cedar Point is definately my home park, and I live in FL! But I grew up in the Midwest and we went to CP every other year or every year, my senior class in high school went, and I worked there for 3 seasons. It will always be my home park, because walking down the midway always feels like coming home!

Exactly, you dont have to say your homepark is the closest to your place of residence. If I did that, then I would have to call Santas Village my homepark and I am not about to do that.

Im about 10 minutes from Six Flags Great America, so, thats my homepark.

Also, I didn't in my first post, which I was going to, that Indiana Beach is much closer to me than Six Flags Great America, but I consider both to be my home park because I've been to both numerous times. Even when Great America was owned by Marriot :)

My homepark is Six Flags Darien Lake but it's not the closest park. The closest park is actually Seabreeze but i don't like or visit that park that much.

I live close to SFMM, DL, DCA, KBF and USH, but I consider SFMM my home park.

Can anyone see their home park from their house though?? I would love to be able to watch CP at night from my house!

I don't think anyone can watch CP from their house, except the people that live on the old chausse (I suck at French) by the beach. If you take that drive, instead of that by the main causeway, you'll see some nice beach houses over there. It'd be a nice place to live, but I'd imagine the crowds would get to some.

My grandparents live in a 'manufactured' community of sorts in Aurora (not Barrington, but right by there, you Cleveland people). Whenever we go, there's always enormous traffic jams on the main road outside their community. This lasts from about 9:00 Am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays. You can't see the park from their house, but it's about 3 miles away as the crow flies.

I can see Waldameer from my bedroom window. But just the top of the 100 foot tall ferris wheel.

Even though I live about An hour to an hour and a half I consider indiana beach my homepark. Every summer since I was a little baby my parents would take me there every year. Now I am really attached to that buetiful place.

I used to be able to when I was growing up. Lived in Park City(between Gurnee and Waukegan) and could see SFGAm from my back yard.

I used to live in Michigan but I'm in school in Colorado now and there's no way I'm going to consider Six Flags Elitch Gardens as my homepark. I still consider Cedar Point my homepark. I wish I could go right now..

Well, SFKK is much closer to me than PKI, but PKI is still my homepark. its where i grew up!
