Finally rode the Lil' Phantom!

Well, in addition to getting Phantom's Revenge under my growing belt at Kennywood sunday, I finally got a ride on it's baby brother! I've been trying to get that sucker for years, but today some little girl was actually ok with me riding with her! If you were a tiny kid, would you want some long haired guy sitting next to you on a coaster that barely fits one? Fun was had.

The ride is smoother than it looks! Save for the final turn, everything is fairly comfortable for a junior coaster. That last turn kind of whips you though, and my upper body was always flung close to that station. Good fun...

Haha, kind of funny that I posted a report on this, and not Phantom's Revenge. Oh well, just in case you're like me and have been trying to ride this too, it can be done!

You know I have been to KP a million times but I couldn't tell you where Lil Phantom is if my life depended on it.

Wouldn't it be funny it they reprofiled Lil Phantom too and changed the last half of the course. Hey maybe they are going to insert the inversions from Steel Phantom (obviously joking).

I also rode the Jr. Coaster at my homepark for the first time ever recently. The Timberline Twister at Knott's. Thanks to Coasterpunk and the Coaster Zombies. I had always been denied a ride, with or without a child, because I was over the maximum height of 6'0".

I guess the Coaster Zombie charm was too much for the ride operator!

P.S. Coasterpunk, where are your trip reports???

I know what you mean Soggy, I think it was the ACE shirt that helped me out. Hopefully I can pull your trick when I visit Knott's again in August!

I have never seen Lil' Phantom in a RCT park!

If FoF got that great of a makeover than why can't I?

Lil' Phantom is in the Kiddieland section of the park. Walk between the toy soldiers and head straight back. It'll be on the left.

Actually, I think it's his nephew. I remember hearing a recording of Lil' Phantom at CoasterBash! XII, where he mentioned his uncle's ride. ;)
