Holiday World park guide added to Coaster Grotto

He didn't seem to like SDC as much as everyone else. Also I didn't think T2 was bad.

Coaster Grotto is a great site, but I've always disagreed with some of the reviews such as his Lake Compounce one.

Before you criticize somebidy, walk at least a mile in their shoes. That way, if they get mad, the're a mile away and barefoot!

I noticed one of your tips was to ride The Raven first thing in the morning. Actually, it's *much* better to wait until the afternoon when it's often a walk-on (while most folks are in the water park). I would not advise trying to ride either coaster first thing, as from 10-11 am the water park is not open and nearly everyone gets in line at the coasters.

That is so true, Paula. When I went to HW, Legend and Raven had crowds at the beginning of the day, but as the water park opened, they became walk-ons. Well, Raven was a walk-on. Legend still had a 15 minute wait. Man, those coasters rock!

Hey Raptor Pilot how can you say T2 wasn't bad! It jerks you around all over the place and is a most uncomfortable ride, one of the worst coasters I have ever ridden..

I agree with Dingo 65 and also think Coaster Grotto is a great site. Look forward to reading more reviews soon.

Coaster Grotto - Save your Top 20 Coasters and Track Record Online!

bellagio, I rode T2 this May with my girlfriend, who has a bad neck and who is not the coaster enthusiast I am, so is much less tolerant of rough rides than I am. She didn't think T2 was rough either and she (and I) actually thought Chang was rougher.
Of course, us older folks (comparatively speaking) are probably more tolerant of rougher coasters anyway, since before the 90's, that's all we had.

Raptor Pilot, Yes Chang was a touch rough and is my least favorite B&M 'stand-up' but not in the same league as T2. You refer to yourself as 'older folks' but I'm sure you've a way to go to catch me up my friend as I am a senior citizen!!!, maybe that's why I found it rough.

Holiday World is the best park I've ever visited. The staff are very very friendly and the park is one of the cleanets parks I´ve ever visited. And if was not enough it has the world's two greatest wooden coasters. The airtime on Legend is so extreme!!!

I must agree that Holiday World is one of the cleanist parks I've been too. My dad and I have a competition to every park we go too to see how much change we can find on the ground. When going to parks like Six Flags Darien Lake and Paramount's King's Island you find some change when others you find lots of change. But when I attended Holiday World for 8 hours my dad nor I found any change anywhere in the park. Good job to the park for keeping the park clean and to Pat Koch who I met while carrying a dustpan and a broom. *She stole my change*
