As a child growing up in Rand, W. Va., Randy Moss remembers how much it meant when a family friend treated him to a trip to Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio. The all-pro Minnesota Vikings wide receiver wanted to make a similar impact on about 100 youngsters’ lives. Saturday, the former Dupont High School star took three busloads of children for an all-expenses paid day at the Sandusky, Ohio, park.

KC (no Sunshine Band)...I think a LOT of pro athletes do this sort of thing, it just doesn't sell the newspapers as much as the recent AI incident and similar behavior....
bill, thinking the "family-friendly" atmosphere of parks and pro sports is ABSURDLY under-publicized, and that a stronger tie-in would benefit both....
I would like to believe that Mr. Moss is doing this on a whim, and not because his agent or publicist instructed him to. I am having a huge problem believing this because of how he acts on the football field, he portrays himself as a selfish player who is completely absorbed with himself. If I am wrong, and I hope I am, I was wrong about him, and way to go Randy.
