Hypersonic XLC has been cycling at Paramount's Kings Dominion, its train modified to remove the "zero" car and integrate the nose into the car with the first set of seats.
omg, those headrests are repulsive! eeek, but the rest of the train looks very, very sleek...
I don't think the headrests have been added yet...so mybe that's why it looks like that.

what is the "zero" car. I've never ridden, but the cars in the picture look similar to me (aside from the color and the weird stick headrest thing). What about Dodonpa? Does anyone know if it's been running successfully?
The "Zero" car is the car ahead of the train that doesn't hold passengers. They took this off and put the nose on the first passenger carrying car.

why did they modiefy the train
Dodondpa is running fine as far as I know. Hyper sonic is pretty much the proto type where as dodonpa is second generation.
