Knott's is still working hard, even after the completion of Xcelerator's circuit. In just one week the station framework has sprouted up and part of the roof has been installed.

I was just at KBF yesterday and did some limited scouting of my own - nothing in the public view that I could see. I spoke with one of the employees at the GhostRider merchandise stand and here is her story (IMO, on the same level of credibility as the Dippin' Dots or Churro Cart guys): one of the trains is in one of the warehouses but the employees were not allowed to take pictures; it is a six-passenger vehicle; yada yada yada. I explained to her that she probably saw only the lead car attached to one of the cars, but she insisted on her version. I left it at that - it would not be feasible to have such short vehicles - the light weight would not be a good thing (thanks Martha!!). Thought you would get a kick out of my investigative report!! Based on what I saw of the station construction, they will be very hard-pressed to get it done and have tested the ride by Memorial Day weekend, IMO.
