I saw it.
Rail Junkies? Huh??? I had never heard of that term until now. The other show calls us Coaster Nerds. I am not a Junkie (drug user) and I am not a Nerd.
We are called Enthuseists!!!!
Someone mention that to the producers of all these shows the next time you're filming a media day shoot.
When you people goto SFWoA in a couple weeks for the media day shoot for X-Flight, make sure you tell all the camera people that we are Enthusiests.
Now, if you get on camera, then don't be SCARED, oh mommy, please help me. Look at the camera and say the ride is cool, but don't whimp out, even if it's your first time in the front seat. Say you're hoping for a 400 foot coaster to beat the record in Japan. Say it's nothing, that you want them bigger, faster, taller, and that nothing scares you. I just wanna see an enthuseist get on camera and not whimp out.
I wish they'd give more ride footage from start to end. They're still doing a zillion cut shots and you can't see all the elements. Producers think this looks cool, I don't. They'll show the ride for 30 seconds with a bunch of cut shots, then show an interview for 3 minutes of some dumb scientists telling us our heart is gonna speed up, I already know that. They could show the ride from start to finish during that 3 minutes and put his voice as the sound track.
Other than that, it was good, taped it, and I'll watch it again.
