Cedar Fair today announced that it will spend $5 million for capital improvements at its newest park, Michigan's Adventure. The improvements include a Skycoaster and go-kart track as up-charge attractions, a 40-foot-tall hydroflume raft slide that combines water with the thrills of a roller coaster, a nostalgic family train ride, Dodgem bumper cars, a kids' go-kart track, and a themed children's car ride. It also includes the addition of a new catering facility and picnic shelter that will be able to accommodate groups of more than 3,000 people, a Peanuts-themed live entertainment show and gift shop featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the other Peanuts characters as well as significant upgrades to the park's restrooms, signage and landscaping.

In reguarding the Hydroflume type ride I think it maybe similar to Valleyfairs Hydroblaster.
You're probably correct. People familiar with the park would know that they already have both a traditional and an enclosed family tube slide. They don't need another one.
Other than a Master Blaster or Royal Flush, that would be one of the few slide products they don't already have...

The problem now is that they have to figure out what kind of mix would be good for the new attractions within the next 3-4 years. I know for a fact that I have been working at CP since 1998 as a seasonal. And each year up to now, they had something to make the park stronger.
If all goes well, I am going to work at Michgian's Adventure this summer to offer my expertise.
