Tomb Raider begins to take shape at Kings Island

Ditto, the construction index leads to nothing. From what I've read & heard, one of these www.hussrides.com/30GiantRides.htm could be it with heaps of themeing. It could easily flip you over and drop over "boiling lava". :)

I work at PKI.  From what I have been told in the Rides Office, expect a dark ride to appear next spring.  The park would not go to all this trouble and advertising in its 30th anniversary for a mere spin 'n' puke.  No, this attraction will bea little more high-tech, and a little more family-oriented.  It will be an amazing ride experience (think Universal Orlando or Disney World), not a flippy spin 'n' puke.

I am expecting nothing that we have ever seen before. I doubt its a spin and puke. THink about it, in the announcement, we were told it will cost more than the action zone expansion, which was 40 million. If this is a huss giant top spin, it will cost what, no more than 10 million. That leaves 30 million on smoke and mirrors? Doubtful.

From the looks of where the ride entrance will be, it does seem to be set back a bit from the current entrance, but I think that's to be expected judging from the original artwork.  From what I understand, the basket toss game will be removed, which I assume means that the path through Rivertown will change slightly.

Looks small to me for a dark ride. It must be a motion simulator with a wall screen by the looks of the dimensions of the building.

Are we all forgetting the possibilty that it could be partially underground?  Maybe that is why the building looks so small.

The building isn't that small.  I think the pictures cause you to lose perspective.

As far as it being underground, the concrete has already been poured, so I think we can pretty much be sure about where the bottom is.

As having gone to PKI once every week since the 15th of September, I can tell you that there was no steel put up on the 15th of September!  All the steel shown on www.pkiguide.com has been put up in two weeks!  The building is quite tall, and can be seen from the entrance to the Vortex!  I think that for starting construction this early, it has to be something big.  Also, I highly doubt that the park would just add a flatride in a box for its 30th anniversary.
