That mug looks scary 300ft just sitting on like a horse saddle.

You know what would be really cool, but probably would never happen, is that you could use the supports of 3 launch rides in a triangle or square,(Like Power Tower) you could use those to hold this up and you could have three rides in one. (Space Shot, Turbo Drop, and Thrill Shot)

The SFMM Salvi

I went to SFMM yesterday and rode this beast of a ride. I gotta say it was pretty worth the 18 bucks for 2 rides. I don't know if this happened to our good friends at ACN but when I rode it, the acceleration was so fast that it made drool come out of my mouth. I was sorta embarrassed by it although I don't think anyone noticed. Great ride!! :)

.. I got to spend the last 3 days with Stan Checketts, CEO and president of S&S Power at Cedar Point as they tested VertiGo. CP's version of this (which, I was told by S&S that CP got the ptototype that was originally set up in Utah) and got to test ride for 2 hours yesterday before it went public (big thanks to Dick Kinzel, CEO of Cedar Fair). This ride is NUTS...

I'm going ot be posting a VERY long and drawn out report about the ride, what's in R&D as far as the ride goes for improvements and some of the conversations I had with Stan and his crew over at Coasterbuzz's sister site www.guidetothepoint.com later today.
