Ice Mountain Spring Water must have paid a foutune to have the ride named after them. most corporate sponsors just have that little sign along the exit of the ride.

so what, is Deja'Vu open over there?!?!?! sure sounded like it....and is that Deja'Vu really 178ft? i thought all of em were 195ft.

The Deja's are 178 ft. not 195.

No, Deja Vu is 195 ft. tall and drops you from 178 ft. The article says "After diving from 178 ft...." But about it being open, does anyone know?! And from what I heard, the SFOG and SFGA Deja Vus drop from 178 ft. and the SFMM Deja Vu drops from 195 ft. Does anyone know if that is true?

They're all the same height, but stand on different levels of land. SFMM's Deja Vu sits about 20ft higher than the others. It's all marketing, but it works.

I would like to say I have been to a lot of parks and Great America is a great run park and I have never had a bad time there. The park keeps getting better and better. Also raging bull has the best crew ever on a roller coaster. The line is always moving and they are very good at not stacking. Way to go Six Flags. This is an amazing park.

Six Flags is an awesome park but it doesn't get much recognition on those t.v. shows because it doesn't have the highest roller coaster (which isn't Millennium Force) or the most coasters, but I think that it is possibly the best park overall. And if it isn't on t.v. this summer I will shoot someone.

Notice how this park opens the same way as PGA does? With a big pool in front of a double carousel? MY girl can't get it out of her head that there's some relation to Paramount's GA for sure. Well they both have nearly identical Demons...hmm...

ALso what other parks have double carousels?

Mormoc: Both PGA & SFGAm were built by Marriot's (the hotel chain) back in the 70's. The parks were exact duplicates of each other at that time. However, after a couple of years, Marriot wanted out of the theme park game so they sold the two parks. One got bought by the city it was in and later became PGA. The other was sold to the Bally corp and later became SFGAm. That's the short story. Someone else can give the long version.

I don't think that Magic Mountain will lie about Dejavu's height. If they were taking a 20 ft elevation of ground into account, then they would've listed Viper at about 230 ft or so cuz it's clearly much higher than Goliath due to its hilly base.

How come people have Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America on their track record when it isn't even open yet? I don't think you can go on it until they are done building it!!!

Deja Vu: It depends on where you drop from, actuially. If you are in the back your first drop is larger than anyone elses. Actuially, the back riders have more air time than anyone else. Anyone know how many seats across Deja Vu is? SFGa has both 2 and 4 seat across inverted cars so..

2 coasters this season isn't amazing, they are both cheap(er) coasters as compared to a Viper/Shockwave(which is a copy of Demon with 2 more inversions, if you didn't know that you do now)/Raging Bull..

Six flags is also starting a new pass system to stop line jumping for their busy times. You have to make sure everything is in order and such, its a pain in the ass. They better not get a "Fastpass" type system next year, or I will be forced to put myself in a cast and act as if my arm is broken (which lets you into all the ride's via the exit, up to 10 rides, then you just loose your ticket(after you use it, of course) and go and get another one)
