I'm impressed at your arrogancy.
Is it hard to be stuck on yourself that much?
Now on a more serious note, yes I indeed know what some parks are thinking AND DOING, not all of them mind you like the aquisation that you provided above. I do know some insider information, but that is just due to contacts and luck.
Now as for the Six Flags spending and deficit debate. Before everyone started attacking me I made the comment that now CF could over take SF in some aspects. This was immediately fired upon with "what does CF have to do with it" I don't know if I am the only one that can see this or not, but SF is operating in the red zone. Now, unless this has changed in the last few hours, operating in debt is a very dangerous and sticky situation. Most companies have not survived when they have been in the red for extended amounts of time and thus have folded. Now I do not wish this on Six Flags, but I do have concerns about their spending like there is no tomorrow way of doing business. Is this healthy? IMHO no. I use CF:LP as an example of business. They do not add rides unless there is can be a ROI. Such as they do not steal alloted funds from other parks to pay for other parks new rides. In the exact opposition SF parks do. How else do you think SFO/SFWOA or whatever else they have changed the name to in the last five hours can afford 3 coasters in one year and yet another this year. Somehow, Somewhere this money came into existence. AND I HIGHLY DOUBT that SFO generated it all itself.
To make a long story short, in order for SF to be a healthy company, they need to slow down on expenditures, work on company morale and possibly share the wealth. Focusing on one park may be good for the short term, but it almost appears they can't look beyond tomorrow...no Mammoosh, I'm not saying CF:LP is perfect, just that they have been at this (I think) longer and are more field tested.
