Premier liquid coaster rises in Finland

I think Premier really has a winner with this kind of ride, and I'd love to get on one! I like flume a lot, but they're still a go up, float around, drop and splash affair. That's once a year, if at all, at my home parks. (I've still never been on Snake River Falls, if you could believe that.)

You're a smart man not to ride Snake River Falls. I went on its clone at Dorneypark when it was 60 degrees out and I tried all day to dry out to no avail. I even tried all the flat rides and I was still soaked. The last time I rode it I was much smarter and took advantage of Dorney's ride in your swimsuit option.

Actually, in all of the trips I've made to Cedar Point, I've never ridden SRF either. It just seems like a waste of time -- up, turn, drop, splash. (Now, I would definitely give Perilous Plunge a try.)

I agree with your opinion of the ride, Jeff. Hopefully more parks around the country install some of these. Mack makes a water coaster, too, and the one at Europa Park looks really good. I'll be at Silver Dollar City this year, and I'm looking forward to Buzzsaw Falls almost as much as Wildfire.

IOA has a flume w/ some tube sections, of not to the extent of the liquid coaster.

I agree, Jeff. Premeir does have a winner with the liquid coaster. Mr. Freeze, Chiller, and Outer Limits I don't even ride anymore. (Last time I rode Freeze I was on heavy paini killers and it didn't help!) These rides look like fun, and I would ride over and over again! I hope a park close to me gets one soon.

Wow, and I thought I was the only one who avoided Snake River.

To all those riding Buzzsaw Falls for the first time, be sure to sit in the very back row of the john boat/coaster car. ;)

Dare I ask why?

When the boat/car leaves the station, and the coaster rails, it drops down into the trough and wave of water hits the back row passengers and just absolutely soaks you. Water runs down your back and legs and into your shoes even. Plus if your in the back you get wet on the lift hill when all the water in the boat gushes back. It is a blast to watch unsuspecting people take their back seat and get soaked leaving the station:)

Dudley Doo Rights rip-saw falls I think can be considered a liquid coaster, even though it is not technically one of them. the second half of the ride, the boat runs on a coaster track, and has a little drop in the middle of the ride, as well as the giant drop and bunny hill at the end... They are just diguised in water

Nothing will ever beat the log flume at Americana that DRENCHED you.

I don't think that Dudley Do-Right's has a track. . .no more so than Splash at WDW or DL. Am i completely off in left field?

Halfway through the ride, it transfers onto track...

I have never riden a liquid coaster tell me are they worth riding????
