Price reduction coming to Six Flags Great America

Now maybe they can lower food and parking prices while they are at it!

Several SF parks are lowering ticket prices, what better way to entice the public and make up some of the gate money they lose to season pass holders

i agree john. they need to lower the food prices as they are totally ludicirous!!! i took my kid there last year during fright fest and spent 27$ on two chessburgers, fries and two drinks.. how ridiculous is that!!!!

dude, where did you eat?!?! I know I went to the Mooseburger Lodge and got a burger, fries, and bottomless pop for about $8-$9 bucks (I dont remember the exact amount but I gave the cat a ten spot and got back change ;)). Not to mention that was the best (non-homemade) burger I had had in a great while.

the fact you paying $10 to clog your arteries is quite freaky... The fact it might come up later on on a ride is freakier!

does SFGA even allow food to be taken in?

good for them lowering their prices. I agree the food is way too high, all they're doing is restricting their target audience to people who can afford it.

The prices are way too high,, and another thing,, the workers are soo slow.. but it is nice though,, you drop something,, you get it back,, but We just go to Burger King..

First, SFGA_Maniac, what do prices have to do with construction? Your on the wrong page! Not to mention, SFGA=Six Flags Great Adventure, because I'm guessing you think it's Great America

Second, I also agree food is really expensive. We usually make sub sandwiches before we go down, bring Pringles, a bunch of soda, cookies, candy, and other junk food to eat on the way down, at lunch, and going home. We only save about 5 dollars than eating in the park, but we get pounds more of food. Also, I'm surprised more people don't do that. I see maybe 15 people in the whole parking lot (for the area I can see) eating lunch thier. It's not difficult to bring your own food and have your hand stamped for gate re-entry! That is all you need to do if you want to save money on food.

Food is high at SFGA, but if you think about it the place is a giant tourist town and since you don't have to eat there everyday you will pay the prices. I myself live in a big tourist town in Wisconsin (Minocqua, WI if you where wondering) The food prices here for the little local burger joints and the themed resturnats are high because you don't eat there all the time, just once and since you have to eat they win. Also great for lowering the ticket prices, me and some friend are road trippin it there for 3 days and now we have some extra money for the entertainment found in Zion Il. ;)

Its not a coaster but its a hell of a ride.
