Hey folks!
Though I would consider myself a medium thrillseeker, I have to agree with the boys from Portland. Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, we were only an hour from Great America in Illinois, and while, at least in the Mariott years, they didn't add something new every year, we were just happy to go. Right now, it's definitely a thrill-seeker's market, wouldn't you say?
As for Acrophobia, I think it will be an excellent addition to SFOG, as will be Deja Vu. Hey, I visited there in 1997, the year they had JUST added Batman The Ride, and was pretty impressed with the scant collection they had. I think Six Flags Over Georgia is so cool because of the excellent theming, landscaping, and retheming of some older rides, such as Mindbender, and Viper (formerly SFGAM's Tidal Wave). The only ride I would get rid of there is Ninja : The Head Banger of Roller Coasters.
As for your feet dangling, I do think that is garbage - it will be a standup, but not with nothing below your feet. Of course, if you put the seat up too high, you can dangle all you want.
Go Six Flags!
