Help with SFWoA.....

For my first time ever, I am going to SFWoA.

Can locals tell me a special route to take to hit all the coasters?
I know the park will be crowded because I am going Memorial Day weekend, but do you think I can hit all the coasters?

1 last question: Will X-Flight be open for sure?

I normally go back and hit Batman first, but you should go to the tri area (now quad area) of Susan, ME, Big Dippah, and X-Flight. Those will all be to the immediate right. The wild rides side is shaped in a giant "U" (actually more like a boomerang for you Aussie folk). After that then head over to the Batman area. Hit Serial Thriller on the way over and then Batman next door. After Batman, head to RWB next door to it. Then head over to the tri area of RRE, Villain, and DL. Save these for last cause I have NEVER seen Villain open right in the morn'. Hit whatever you want over in that section. RRE should be a walk-on (800 person train they got there), DL should be walkon-20 minutes (depends on how many trains they got running), and Villain should be aboot 20-30 minutes. Hope I didn't forget anything.

hey punk, i know that this has nothing to do with the topic of this forum, but are you a relien K fan??? a friend of mine just saw them like 2 or 3 days ago in Des Moines, IA. (with the O.C. Supertones and Switchfoot). she said they were awesome. i wish i could have gone but i just saw Project 86, Living Sacrifice, and Stavesacre last week. MxPx is my favorite band i think. so is Relient K.

I would think X Flight would be open on Memorial Day weekend. Since it is the newest attraction on the rides side, it will be packed early. If anything, hit Superman first due to the low capacity. Sit in the middle to get the best of both spikes (just enough twist and just enough height). While in the area, also hit Big Dipper, the park's gem. You'll love it! Then go to X Flight if line itsn't too bad.

Afterwards, head over to the western area of the park. Serial Thriller has become rather rough and it is a Vekoma SLC. Ride it if you want to, but if Villain is open by the time you get to that side of the park, do it. Villain has to be the best coaster in the park right now. They replaced the old restraints with the newer, wider ones and makes the ride much better. If you'd like, take a spin on Double Loop just for the ride count. It's pretty tame. If not,head over to Batman Knight Flight.

Opening weekend saw all of the queues full but the line moved fast. Don't be discouraged if the line seems quite long. Definitely sit on an edge seat in the back for great hangtime in the loop. The front seat line is always long but if you want to, sit in the middle over the track to make the floorless effect work.

If you need a break, I highly recommend taking the short stroll over to the wildlife side of the park. It's very, very nice. The Batman Water Stunt Spectacular is IMO quite good and will be even better once they get the pyrotechnics working (I saw a dress rehearsal last weekend and enjoyed it). Grab a bite to eat while over here as there is more variety to choose from than on the rides side. Don't miss Pirate's 4-D which is very entertaining. It's a 3-D movie with extra effects thrown in.

This is just a few suggestions you might consider doing while at the park. Do not miss getting a ride on Villain at night - it's awesome.

I am a !HUGE! relientK fan! Mxpx is my favorite band, too. I know relient K because I have been to aboot 5 of their shows and they are super nice people. They are from just south of where I live. I highly recommend going here: http://www.gotee.com/studio/relientk.php to download three clips off their upcoming album. I have heard Sadie Hawkins dance three times live. The first time I heard it live was very ironic because our school had our Sadie Hawkins Dance the day before the show! If you would like to talk music or whatnot on AIM, I am usually on the sn MauryGarner.

Anyway, back on subject, SFGL doesn't really have a lot in the "unique food department". They have fast food chains that are quite pricey, except for the new Taco Bell next to Big Dipper and Shipwreck Falls. The wild life side has better bites to bite.
