What is a S&S Snow Shot

I too was looking at some photos from 2000 IAAPA. This ride looks like a snowmobile-looking launched coaster. Does anyone have info?

um, perhaps a TA2K with trains that look like snowmobiles?

Nope, good guess though.

Snow shot is a small upcharge attraction that simulates a snowmobile race. It launches 2 sleds at up to 60mph on a flat race track. It looks VERY fun. I'm not sure if the riders control the scceleration or not for a true race.

Camel@work, it sounds a lot like the Top Fuel dragsters, except you are sitting atop a snowmobile, and it has one of those sweet air-powered launches. There's a picture of it operating (I assume at the S&S plant in Utah) in the last First Drop Magazine. The people riding it look very exposed rather than strapped inside a dragster. It looks really fun!
