Skycoaster or Skyscraper

I rode the Skyscraper at Dorney this summer but was never on a Skycoaster. I thought the Skyscraper was insane. A bit creepy the first time you spin around but then its just awsome after you get used to the open seats. Was anyone on both and which do they prefer?

I've been on a Skycoaster (Kennywood's, 180'), but never a Skyscraper. I hope to end up at Dorney this year, and if I do, I'll ride that sucker.

Skycoasters are extremely awesome. I'd love to ride the 300-footer down in Florida one day. I can't imagine how intense that would be.

I have ridden both. I prefer the skycoaster as it is more adrelaline pumping because of the anticipation. Mind you, I rode the Skycoaster in Orlando(300 feet) so it was a lot scarier than a 200 footer(which I have also been on).

Exactly. I've been on SFO's Skycoaster, SFGAm's skycoaster, CP's skycoaster, PKI's skycoaster and the big mamma jamma, The Kissimee Skycoaster of Florida. I've done the skyscraper at the Dells and Katanga on International Drive in Orlando. If I had to choose between Katanga and the 300' skycoaster, it would most definitely be the 300 footer. Nothing can match that exhileration plummeting down 300' to the water below. It's nirvana.

I've been on both also. The skycoaster was in Wildwood, NJ and the skyscraper in Seaside Heights, NJ. I did both for the first time last summer. I would have to say that the anticipation is better for the skycoaster. After the initial freefall on the skycoaster it is just a gentle swinging ride. I thought that the skyscraper was scarier. Personally I liked both.

The Skyscraper is much more of a ride, IMHO. Skycoasters are kind of boring, even the Orlando one. The first drop is cool, but after that, eh...

I know what a skycoaster is...but what is a skyscraper? (other than a building -wink- )
