NOOOOOOO!
Y'know, after spending nine hours at Dorney
on Sunday, and fourteen hours at Cedar Point
last August, I'm becoming less and less ''fond''
of Cedar Fair.
They have some of the STUPIDEST ride
policies or any park or chain, anywhere.
- You must take everything with you on
most rides, even when you load/unload
at the same place!
- EVERTHING has seatbelts! The Wild Mouse
at Dorney, hell, even the Antique Car ride
at Cedar Point had 'em! Lighten up a little
fellas, geeze!
- They've braked Hercules and Thunderhawk,
not to mention Mean Streak, to all hell.
- And my biggest gripe, not being able to
stay on the ride, or re-ride, when their is
no line. WHAT is the point of that other
than to PO the customer?
- They love to rip out classic rides, and
replace them with nothing (or nothing
worthwhile). This season, Dorney's
beloved Paratrooper got the boot, as
did Cedar Point's Fascination.
- Will someone tell me WHY they are
SO strict about being ''ALL THE WAY
BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE! YOU! IN
THE YELLOW SHIRT! MOVE BACK!''
A train on Steel Force sat on the
holding brakes for almost two
minutes simply because this kid
wasn't *totally*behind the yellow
line. I mean, it was only his tip
toes, and it was only because
the other people in line were pushing.
And the same thing happened at
Cedar Point last year with the train
track operators, but they were
worse offenders. They created
HUGE bottlenecks on the midways
until ''EVERYONE IS BEHIND THE
YELLOW LINE."
In the words of the great Harry Henninger,
''We're only an AMUSEment park; let's not
take ourselves too seriously!"
C'mon guys, lighten up, a LITTLE!

of good and evil moving into Muskegon,
Michigan. However, a third train and
a block brake, or brakes of any kind
on Shivering Timbers would be
UNFORGIVABLE.)
