LOL, I think that should be a header on every coaster forum - but only from November 1 to April 1. Then everyone can relax and get back to "normal".... ;)

My guess is that he found them posted on one of the twenty gazillion enthusiast sites that exist and passed the info along in an attempt to be helpful.

But that's just a guess. :)

But if I got on Jeopardy, all the categories would be things like "Medieval Hungarian Literature" and "Oscar Winning Key Grips." :)

While I could not find any info Key Grips who have won Oscars I did find this:

Medieval Hungarian Literature for $1000: The most extensive literature in the Hungarian language arose after this year.

Well, assuming they started really writing when Chaucer started writing, in the 14th Century, I would guess "What is 1300?"

...which once again proves the the theory that coaster dorks are dorks about numerous topics.

And I mean that as a compliment.

I for one am rather proud that my dorkdom extends beyond one isolated topic. Gotta embrace the dork.

P.S. I too looked, unsuccessfully, for Oscar-Winning Key Grips, so what else does that say about me?

LOL Dave. I actually tried to find a winner in the technical categories who may have at one time been a key grip. It seems logical that in the long history of the Oscars someone rose thru the ranks and won an award.

I can't believe anyone actually searched for that stuff. :)

See? I'd get my ass kicked on Jeopardy. But at least I wouldn't waste all my money on Wheel of Fortune buying vowels that I already knew.

Wheel of Fortune is WAYYYY too easy for adults. It's like the kiddie version of jeopardy... ;)
