God dang that is a lot of visitors. One day Jeff if I ever hit the loto and become rich I am going to give you a shiznit load of money and build my own themepark, it is just to bad I am to you to play and the chances are slim. But if i ever do become rich, You will be the first person I ever give any money to :)

Strangely enough, I had my highest visitor count yesterday too. While it was only 189, that is pretty good considering I have no dynamic content whatsoever. :)

I'll add my congratulations also! Way to go Jeff! This is my favorite coaster website, and I can't start or end my day correctly without checking out the forums. I too, will gladly offer up a fee for this site, and I hope that Coasterbuzz continues on for years to come! Peace. :)

I've never had any problem with PKI, and in fact they've been more than willing to send me things I need (like publicity photos for Coasters' Choice). Ditto for CP and the Busch parks. RobCoasting is right... don't be stupid.

ScorcherCongo has the right idea - let's all support Coasterbuzz and the great job the moderators do by visiting the ads! Every so often I'll go ahead and click on the "Lighthouse Point" ad just to get to the official CP site, since I like to browse around there too. Let's all help out!

I've had a tremendous visitor rate this week - 402 and counting - too, and I wanted to ask you, Jeff, about this, since you run the best unofficial coaster sites: is it common to get a lot more hits this time of year, considering how many northern parks are opening around now? Or is this some sort of odd fluke? 3-4 days ago I had 90 visitors, which surprised me so much I thought the counter was broken! :) Thanks everyone! (And I'll update more often, I promise!)

This site has only been up for about a year and a half, and traffic has only increased month to month, never decreased. The growth never slowed down, due in part I suspect because of our IAAPA coverage.

On the other hand, GTTP, which has been around for three years now, saw a slight decrease in the winter months this year, most likely because CP wasn't building anything and there wasn't much to talk about. It's only doing about 1,500 people per day right now, where as at the peak of the MF interest it was around twice that.

To answer your question, it depends. A new site might continually grow, while an established one might decrease in the off season.
