Why couldn't they just name it THUNDERHAWK?!?!??!?!

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

How about Goliath? Yeah, that would do it. Or Vortex?

Id be curious to know if Cedar Fair picked the name, or if it was picked, as most others are, by the management at the park.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

If there is one thing I can't stand, its unoriginality. Now when a coaster enthusiast talks about the Back Lot Stunt Coaster no one will know which of the dozens of other coasters with that exact name is being talked about.

Oh, wait...never mind.

Any suggestions for a better name for a coaster that is supposed to be a wild ride in a stunt vehicle on a movie set?

Given the theme and the loss of the license - I'd say the options are a tad limited. :)

How about "Hit and run."

Oh no, that's too violent for CF. I would think 'stunt' is too...

....can NOT resist.... "Evel Knievel". :)

Sorry... ;)

Maybe, sice it is King's DOMINION....maybe keeping the name it already HAD would have been a decent move. Or would the GP then identify it as a "used" coaster? LOL!

LOL Gonch. I bet most park guests just say "let's ride the mini-Cooper one!"

Isn't that just an overcomplicated way of saying Old Mill? ;)

They should've named it after one of the greatest British bands of the 90's: SWERVEDRIVER.

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!

I'm surprised they didn't come to some kind of agreement with BMW and really promote the Mini Cooper name.

How about "Rollercoaster themed to Italin Job but renamed because it was licensed to Paramounts"

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

Then everyone would expect the theming and props to rot away. It's a FEATURE, see?

I don't get it. Why didn't the name license transfer with ownership of the parks too? I think if I was CF, I would have insisted that be part of the agreement. This is a different situation then the Six Flags GL deal.
