Kennywood Announces 2008 attraction

While it hasn't officially been announced on their website, you'll find its mentioned on there I think by mistake. However a local tv station has posted the story, http://www.wpxi.com/news/14816838/detail.html?rss=burg&psp=news

For Kennywood, that's a sizeable investment for a dark ride.

8 rooms? That seems kinda small. But I'm sure it'll be fun nonetheless.
Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll miss Gold Rusher, but I'm glad they're keeping their hand in the dark rides.

This is the kind of attraction and level of investment that might have help save a certain park 100 or so miles to the west-northwest.

Shutting up now. Yay for Kennywood! Yet more new fun for me in PA. Now if only Conneaut Lake could get its stuff together, it'd be like winning the trifecta.

This looks like a good addition to probably the best park in the country...
That's been gone since 2000.

No mention of the similarity to the KennyCorp ride at Lake Compounce?

See, to me this is the way in which you can have "similar" rides, but different enough to keep them each unique in their own way. Gives a park its own "flavor". Low-cost creative solutions.. ;)

I will miss Goldrusher but I think it will be a HUGE hit for Kennywood. :)
