What day does X close?

Just wondering if anyone knows the exact day X at SFMM closes before the refurbishment. I wanna hit it up one more time before it closes.

I believe it already closed.

Yup. This past weekend was the last chance to ride until next Spring.

The petting zoo and Granny Gran Prix have already been torn out in preparation for Thomas Town.

X is closed on days that end in 'y'

I wish they would close this piece of junk forever! SFMM needs to spends money on security and friendly employees. I flew into Sandusky this year and rode Maverick. i found it to be extraordianrily more intense than X. Why do people hype this ride so much?

X is receiving a lot of beating, as it gives a lot of beating to it's riders, but it still is a pretty unique ride - and some (like myself) haven't given up hope that it's full potential as a surreal, massive mazed and swoop curved aerobatics skydive laughing machine will again shine one day.
I haven't ridden Maverick, but aren't the two like apple and orange?

P.S. SFMM has gotten a lot better in terms of staff friendliness over the last years, what's bugging about the persons encountered there is more like the people (guests) who go there... but SFMM can't really choose them, can it?

So is there any renderings of what the new X2 will look like? I have heard there will be tunnels and other visual effects.

I agree the last time I went to SFMM it was better. They are trying to make improvements. At least we didnt get threatened by someone this time.
