Looks like some of the kiddie rides from geauga lake have arived at cedarpoint. These shots were taken on the last day of the season behind disaster transport.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

^ Why would they get a Nick Universe? The contract expires in a few years.........

I see one ride in the photos. What ride is that? Looks like a kiddy train to me.

Subject to renewal/negotiations. And with such a popular product, they would be downright stupid to just let it go without at least attempting to keep it.

Before I agree that it's just a kiddy train, if you take a look in the background of the first photo, it looks like there could be a bit of Zierer-type track like that found on the former Beaver Land Mine Ride
( http://rcdb.com/ig634.htm?picture=1 )...
...then again, it could just be a kiddy train and a *drumroll*...

fence. ;)

I can see Beaver Land Mine Ride making its way into CP. It's a perfect fit since kids and parents can all ride. It sure doesn't seem like capacity would be even close to being an issue with that size train either.

It'll be even more crazy to say CP has 18 roller coasters.

Yea,

But they have 2 other kiddie coasters and disaster transport now. Do they really need another kiddie coaster?

I think it'd be great for CP to have three kiddie coasters. Everyone is always saying CP needs more for the kids to do.

They have a bazillion coasters for everyone else, why not the same for the kids? I say bring it. Just leave Spongebob far far away.

I think what you're seeing there is a loading ramp for a flatbed trailer and not the track from BLMT...at least that's what I see when I look at that picture.

Poll the target audience and the target audience's credit card wielding moms and I think I know exactly what the answer will be. :)

Of course the park does. It's so people can get another credit because it's called a different name at CP than it was at GL.

Unlike some of the park's other coasters, the BLMT will be worth riding.

I'll be shocked to ever see Nick theming in Cedar Point.

Why?

One of KI's biggest draws is the Nick section, as a matter of fact that's what keeps winning that "Best Kids Area" award for them each year. CP would be out of their minds to take that draw from KI.

If they were to install a Nick themed area, it would be the equivilent of installing a MForce or Dragster clone at KI.

Honestly, I'll be surprised if they even continue to pay for the licensing, which is a damn shame because I think it's worth it.

^It is *definitely* worth it...IMO. The Nick licensing at PKI has probably paid for itself two or three times over ("I wanna go see Spongebob, Mommy"). It's just REALLY hard to get "solid figures" on stuff like that.

See: Charles Schulz, just on MSN Money the other day as "biggest moneymakers among dead celebs".

So, you could very well be right - CF hates the kind of fuzzy math that excites me to no end... ;)
