Coaster Buzzer Gender Check

From the look of the names it appears that this site is moslty visted by the male gender. Is this a true statement or are the non gender specific names mostly ladies.

I would say that males are the majority.

Most coasterbuzzers are men cuz most women are scared to ride coasters. (not really, but let's see what kind of comments this provokes)

I am female and my screenname is a bit misleading because people think it's Ricky Swimming but,it is actually Rickys woman.I am not afraid of any coaster and,i'd say i'm alot braver then my other half because he won't even go on the skycoaster with me.He thinks i'm crazy because i have bungee jumped and dream of sky diving.I have met alot of women and,i have a group of friends who are just as "Nuts" as i am :)

I would actually venture to say that female are more likely to ride coasters than males, especially in the jr high/ high school range. If a young lady was scared of a ride, she could get on, scream her head off and no one would think much of it. But if a dude did the same thing, he would be open to all types of belittlement. Therefore a lot of dudes play it "cool" and spend more of the time playing the games (basketball mostly) and skirt-chasin'.

At least that has been my observation. I think the websites and "organizations" are male dominated simply because more men take coasting "seriously". Ask around in your local circles. I'd bet that there are more brave women than you might think.

I am female as you can hopefully tell by the name in my screen name. I am actually more willing to go on any roller coaster then my boyfriend. He thinks I am crazy just because I go on Great Bear in Hershey and he's too chicken to go on with me.
