Continuing the trend to add coaster after coaster to scandinavian Theme Parks, Djurs Sommerland in Denmark will open "Piraten" in 2008.

It will be a small Intamin Junior Hyper, 700 meter long and only 30 meter high with a 70° first drop.

Layout, fake pictures and a NoLimits Simulation here:

On closer inspection in appears to have the same layout as the mini Hyper thats going into Japans Tobu Zoo next year.

That doesn't really look like Jack Sparrow to me.
Looks very similar, but not the same... in my opinion anyway.

The coaster does look quite fun.

I think that ride looks like a blast- low to the ground turns, quick direction changes, loads of airtime. Who wouldn't want it for their home park?

Isn't junior hyper an oxymoron?

It is the exact picture of Jack Sparrow off the front of one of the POTC PlayStation games.
