From looking at the photographs it would appear that it was a typical Schwarzkopf coaster. It said that there was wooden track, but the photos before the fire look like they are steel, and the remaining supports look steel. The surrounding mountain was wood, and that is what burned. It did look like a really cool ride, and was a terrible loss. The only silver lining is the lack of a loss of life.
