Crazy contest in Indiana

Our State Tourism office is running a contest.

It's a bit complicated in that the first step is to vote for your top three choices (out of 12 trips).

Rich, where are you from, just curious. Heck, if you can make it to New England or Nova Scotia acroos the pond, you've got a least a few good choices (and coaster to choose from.

French Lick is #1 so far. It actually might be a nice place to visit.

If you vote for Fort Wayne as #2 and Indianapolis Romance as #3, it'll help Holiday World pull even farther ahead because those two are at the bottom and the extra votes wont matter.

^Why do I believe that "enthusiasts" aren't the only ones responsible for HW being #1?

Ironically, French Lick is one of my favorite places to visit.

It's right up there with my neighboring tourist (and dinosaur) trap, Big Bone Lick.

With names like those, well, it's hard to go wrong.

I actually voted for "Indianapolis Family Fun" since I have never been to the Zoo yet. ;) HW and IB were right behind. :)

Well, I didn't win the contest but Indiana Beach sent me 4 complimentary tickets for participating. I thought that was pretty awesome except for the fact that they expire at the end of August so I probably won't be able to use them... :(
