I was there tuesday and from what i seen nothing was being done on the ride as far as inspections. The ride ring was down with the lift mechanism at the top. Most of the former or still action zone was down at the beginning of the day. More mechanics were in the son of beast area than drop zone if that helps at all.

I just watched the Toronto, Canada 6:00 and 11:00 news. They had a special show airing live from Canada's Wonderland and in the background you could see Drop Zone running. The fun part was they actually took a video camera inside the tower and showed how it all works, and how they do the safety inspections every morning.

Is that on the web anywhere?

Yea, I could have read it and mistaken it, but wasn't there something in an article about PKI closing Drop Zone indefinitely until the end of the season. Or at least they receive the OK from the Ohio Inspection to open the ride back up.
Quit spreading lies. The ride will open when they deem it safe to do so. A Gyro is a little different than a second gen.
