If $$$ was no object.

I responded to a great post "What improvements would you make to your Home Park". And I thought of my ultimate C.P. dream.
I would add a 200ft Arrow mega Looper in front of the Blue Streak. It would Launch up to a vertical lift hill and have every inversion(A Super Loop,Cobra Roll,Incline Loop,Half Loop,a zero g roll, corkscrew, butterfly, and a cut back. Of course there would be three distinctly different trains(Stand Up,a sitdown standard, and a sitdown face to face).
In front of D.T. I'd build the Biggest 4D.
I would add the world's largest boardwalk with a G.C.I. dueling woody one side being a twister and the other a hilly. And of course I'd relocate most of C.P. flat rides and the Wild Cat to the boardwalk.
Next to the W.C. I'd add an Arrow Mad Mouse and ArrowBATic.
I'd remove Soak City's Parking Lot and relocate Camper Villiage on the mainland. Soak City and CP would be one admission price. With the land cleared up I'd add a new themed area. With the relocated flat rides I'd add new modern flat rides in the old spaces and add a Virginia Reel in F.T.
That's it
What would you do if money was no object to your home park?
And I'd change the Trains on Mantis to floorless. *** This post was edited by Coaster Bob on 4/29/2001. ***
King's Island I would Create Iron Beast. 350ft Arrow or Morgan with lots of hills and air time.
I'd buy back Viper @ SFoG, and put it back in SFGAm, seeing as I've yet to ride it and everyone seemed to love it.

At SFGAm:

1. Add some more kids/family coasters like Reptar and Beastie from PKI.
2. Add a launched, hyper along the lines of IOA's Hulk or possibly an indoor launched like FoF or Rock 'N Roller coaster (or both!).
3. Tear down Shockwave and replace it with a MF-style giga.
4. Make Iron Wolf less rough (I like standups but this one's too rough for me).
5. Add a mine ride and suspended. I don't particularly care for these but I know many people do.

Now you have the perfect park - IMHO. :)

Home park: Hersheypark.

1) Reprofile / expand the Great Bear. Its a great coaster, but its also on the short side.

2) Add a B&M floorless in the style of Sea World's Kraken in the last remaining open area on the north side of Hersheypark Drive.

3) Somehow, somewhere buy MORE LAND, so that the park can expand with out having to demolish the Hersheypark Arena (the Bears have played in that building for 63 years, and I've been on hand for almost every game for the last 18... I sure would hate to see that old "barn" go.) No plans have been annonced for tearing down the old arena when Giant Center is completed, but many feel that it is only a matter of time.

I promise I won't go off on a rant about those @#$%^&*! Toboggan's again.
Hersheypark:

1)Expand the Great Bear. Make turnaround right behind the Music Box Theater. Add another corkscrew on the way back to the zero-g roll.

2)B&M Hyper OR Floorless. (We need more steel at Hershey)

3)Take out Flying Falcon and put an S&S tower in it's place.

4)Take out the Sidewinder (boomerang) and put in a giant invertigo in it's place with the same name. (It would fit -- they have extra space behind the sidewinder)

5)Extend the Trailblazer's length somehow. Maybe have it go down underneath the lift hill. Tunnel? Don't make it any more intense -- just longer.

6)(This is something I hope to improve while I work there...) Improve the effectiveness and speed of some of the ride ops. The Wildcat crew had trains stacked up too often last season. I'll see what I can do about it ;).

Home Park: Belmont Park

1.) Bribe the local officials to remove the height restrictions and the "family" ride requirement and every other restriction so I could do whatever I wanted. (Right! LOL)

2.) Buy tremendous amounts of land across the street from the park (where the Coaster Saloon is), tear everything down, and build a real park. Oh, and rebuild the Coaster Saloon as part of that -- wouldn't want to lose those great t-shirts!
I would make changes to Kings Island.
My first order of business would be a five year expansion that would rival no other.
Year 1: Three Coasters. Coaster #1: A intamin coaster reaching 350 feet, speeds of close to 100 mph., and having a track lenghth of over 10,000 feet. This coaster would break many world records and I would name it The Iron Beast (I liked that name, Coaster Bob). This new coaster would be located near the Beast and have intertwining tracks. Coaster #2: Continuing the family tradition Nickelodeon will get a new ride. A version of the Flying Super Saturator (not a clone). Coaster #3: A new coaster for action zone. This will be an enclosed wild mouse roller coaster themed to Tomb Raider.
Year #2: After such a large expansion the second year will be a little slower. Vortex will be painted and will get new restraints. The new restraints will be OTSR with padding. The Racer will also get a new paint job. SOB will finally have the third train running. King Cobra will also get new restraints, similar to those found on B & M standup's this will decrease loading time.
Year #3: A new coaster will be added this year. It will be a B & M Inverted Coaster. This coaster will be much like Batman: TR, very compact and intense. This will also be added to Action Zone.
Year #4: I would then look into recreating River town. First I will add a Water Coaster. This will be very similar to Buzzsaw Falls. I would also make some minor changes to White Water Canyon. The water would be cleaned, whether that means taking all the nasty water out or something else, it would be done. Then I would add a waterfall over the end of the first tunnel. I would also try and add some more boats to keep wait times down.
Year #5: The expansion will conclude with an Arrow 4-D. By this time the design will be more developed and allow for a longer better ride than it did in the first year. This will be placed in Action Zone.
With the 5 year expansion concluded I would look to hold many world records including most coasters in one park, fastest roller coaster (unless there is a 120mph+ Air Thrust), tallest roller coaster, longest steel and wooden roller coaster, etc.
I'd tear out half of downtown Cleveland's public square and build a huge park. And I'd make sure there was a factory nearby so I could have a bunch of indoor rides and coasters. What? I can dream can't I? :)
