Had a fantastic fun time.

* If you can, get there around an hour or so before opening and have breakfast at Mrs. Knott's. The Chicken-n-eggs breakfast is awesome, and at $8 a serious bargain. I didn't even eat half of it, and was good to go until 1 or so for lunch.

* I'm getting old. I survived more than enjoyed GhostRider. This is not a good sign---soon Jeff will revoke my CBuzz membership.

* Finally got a chance to ride Silver Bullet. Everything you've heard is true: it's a more family-friendly ride than many inverts, but still fun. That odd not-quite-an-inversion element is interesting.

* Missed TMLR (it was closed). Enjoyed Calico, the train, and several shows. Finally saw the Aztec dance show and the Stunt show. Neat. Didn't quite make it to Mystery Lodge. Next time.

* Operations were efficient and decently friendly. No major complaints. Seemed like there were a decent number of people there, but none of the attractions had significant lines during the morning through mid-afternoon, when I left to head to my business meeting in San Diego. Calico was my longest wait of the day. Reflective of the audience that Knott's draws, I think.

* Roasted corn good. Burger bad. Water expensive, even for a park.

Are we talking fried chicken here, or other options for that breakfast? I'm intrigued now.

The good stuff. Mrs. Knott's famous fried chicken: fresh from the fryer, in all its crispy goodness.

Hmm, that sounds delish. I normally eat the breakfast buffet over at the Knott's Resort where I always stay when I am in Cali. Next time I will definitely try that out.

Certain victory.

Hey Brian, was the construction of Sidewinder completed? I have not heard boo about that ride.

Track is completed. There are current pics on www.rcdb.com [which you should have bookmarked!].

westcoaster seems to have better pics than rcdb. They make frequent trips out to the farm and take really good photos.

Chicken and eggs. Sounds like my kinda breakfast. I'll have to check it out next time I go.

lol. You mean the one after the loop, right? I just call it an overbanked turn and I loved it.

Roller Coasters...my first true love.
