What are the set-in-stone events for 2007? Is this going to be a banner year or what???

Also, what other events is everybody looking forward to and excited about?

Summer 2007--one to remember???

Coaster Mayhem at Worlds of Fun will be my only event I attend. It's also my first event ever. So I am very excited about it.

I attended that event last year. It was SUPERB! The park staff there is PHENOMENAL and really went out of their way to make sure everybody had an AWESOME TIME!! You're in for a real treat.

And THE PATRIOT kicks some steel ass, too. . .

The club page has the latest event list. The Fall Affair has a specific date, and I'm pretty sure we'll do BooBuzz again at Cedar Point a week or two (or three) after that. I'll see if we can nail that one down soon.

There is one other that I'm trying to get to come together, but we'll see what happens.

As disappointed as I was in the Mamba and Timber Wolf during ERT last year, I have to say the Worlds of Fun crew did dish out the hospitality for that event, even running two trains on Timber Wolf when one would have been plenty. Kudos to them. I wish I could go to Coaster Mayhem this year, but I will be at HoliWood Nights. :)

2007 events I'm planning to attend:
HoliWood Nights at Holiday World
Lost Coaster Weekend at Indiana Beach
PPP at Knoebels
CoasterBuzz Fall Affair at Holiday World
Possibly the Dells ACE events
And I bet Valleyfair will have an event for Renegade. ;)

The only event I am locked into attending this year is PPP. I will probably stake out a spot near the Phylers for most of the day again. It's just a fun spot to hang out.

Watch the tram car please....

I think Lost Coaster Weekend has been re-named THE LEGEND OF THE SHAFER SHIPWRECK which is also sub-titled THE I.B. COASTER WEEKEND, and runs August 17 and 18th.

That has become a very popular weekend as well for enthusiasts but I haven't been to it in 3-4 years.

Every year, Lost Coaster Weekend gets a "theme" to the event....IB is a realy FUN place, and the employees who help with the events really get into the enthusiasm/insanity...

Cool. I didn't realize Timbersfest had been moved to July. I may finally make it to this event.

Is Coasterbuzz membership accepted? I'm looking at their site and don't see what clubs are allowed. *** Edited 3/20/2007 9:36:49 PM UTC by TonyBlackjack***

As long as you're a CURRENT card carrying member of a coaster club, you can attend TF.

Sadly, I won't be seeing you all at the registration table this year :(...but I'm sure it'll be great times!

Acoustic Viscosity! Nice point. Dollywood has the Thunderhead event, so maybe there'll be an event for Renegade! That'd be sweet. But I'm apart of Rideworld. Hope they would be involved!

Although they don't list specific Clubs that are eligible, the Cedar Point and Geauga Lake events have both accepted CoasterBuzz memberships in the past. That being said, I would guess that is true for all Cedar Fair parks.

Knott's Solace (also CF) accepts Coasterbuzz

Dorney's Coastermania (also CF) accepts Coasterbuzz

BooBuzz @ CP... yeah, do I even have to mention since that was a coasterbuzz event and the ONLY club that was accepted? :)
