In other words, it's still unlikely enough to not worry about it. Talk to enough people and you'll eventually find someone who eats bugs. It doesn't make people confuse them with chocolate.

Talk to enough people and I guarantee someone will eventually confuse the two- it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Dorney spilled the beans on the name change. It was in their promotional text of the MAXX pass on their website. Dorney's Site has been changed back, but there's a screen shot available here of what was posted.
If and when it happens, it'll be because of the strong brand image of the name, not because of confusion.

Well Knotts Belfonte Gardens would be better than Gilroy GardensThat would be weird, since Bonfonte is the name of the founder, so it would be 2 names tagged on there, like that one steak house I live near called "Ruth's Chris Steakhouse". Lol, It never makes sense to me... *** Edited 3/14/2007 5:04:58 AM UTC by P18***
If you think that is bad, there is a local gas station chain here called "Bobby and Steve's Auto World" Now, they sell franchises, and there is one called "Jeff's Bobby and Steve's Auto World"
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
They're dropping the Paramount name from the parks (as in "King's Island" instead of "Paramount's King's Island") It doesn't affect the character licensing on the ride names, etc.
...yet :)
Whether CF decides to expand some of the licensing (like Nickelodeon) or generic-ify the park (More "Dominator"s and "Thunderhawk"s :) ) when THOSE licenses expire remains to be seen.
