The ride at PKI is a Disk'O Coaster, not a Mega Disk'O. Mega Disk'Os are just bigger version of the original, U-shaped Disk'O.
Their fun and unique. Not something you'd get thrilled to ride over and over but certainly something you'd ride once a visit.
Chuck, who still finds it hard to call any form of the disko a coaster. It's powered. Period.
To be slightly technical about it, KI's version is a Disk'O Coaster, but with the Skater body since the seats face inwards. GA has the Disk'O coaster with the round body called Survivor the Ride. The Mega Disk'O can also seat more people--40 vs. 24 according to Zamperla's website.
i have never been on a disk'o coaster but my friend said they are great.
There are two types of people in the world. People who like coasters and idiots. www.freewebs.com/alexibrahim (new forums have been added)
Though if you want to be even more technical, the Kennywood Disk'O uses the Mega Disk'O track but a regular Disk'O body. :)
