Mystery Mine question

Is there anybody here in the forums that is local to Dollywood who could tell about the progress with MM?

My reason for asking is that we plan to go down the first week of April, and are wondering what the chances are of it being open by then? It won't make or break our trip, but it would be nice to ride it.

Dollywood's official site has a site just for Mystery Mine with dates and such. Screamscape also has updates.

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!

As I understand the park plans to begin testing the ride in late February, though given the amount of build up surrounding the grand opening I don't think they'll have a "soft opening" even if the ride is ready to go ahead of schedule.

Besides what's on the website, I was there mid December and there were signs and such that it will be opening (Friday) the 13th of April, 2007... which makes me glad Friday the 13th is early this year and not in July or August ;)
