Yup, While I think rides like Top Thrill and Kingda and other launchers could have effectively marketed BULLIT.

It suits a woodie just fine :)

What about "Silver Bullet" used in 2005?

Boardwalk Bullet is a great name.

I will be making another trip to Texas for this one!

Another seaside woodie! I can't wait!

I really didn't connect Silver Bullet to the name but your right.

Still, It's rare and not commonly used since the 20s

Boardwalk Bullet has been used before? I couldn't find any reference to it in databases or other searches. *** Edited 1/7/2007 5:37:10 PM UTC by depotrat***

No, but *variants* of the name "Bullet" have been around for awhile...

Notably, three Antons cotained the word bullet in their name... ;)

Naming it Bullit could have opened up a marketing agreement with Ford.

LOL....just figured out how the coaster got its name.

Apparently Kemah was insistent on being the first coaster listed on rcdb's "New for '07" page... ;)

In related news, expect to see a lot more coasters named "Aardvark" opening in the future.

We are all in agreement that Bullit is neither a correct spelling nor a word at all... aren't we?

That said, Boardwalk Bullet is an awesome name IMO and I think it suits this ride perfectly.
