Soak City San Diego

Ever since Knott's took over the former White Water Canyon in Chula Vista, there have been rumors about the expansion of Soak City to include more than just water slides. There's a ton of room around the park. Has any one heard about the possible expansion of this park to include coasters?
It'd be nice to see San Diego get a few more coasters. Right now it's just the Giant Dipper and the few tame coasters at Legoland...
(correct me if I'm wrong here)
They are goign to expand. It's just a matter of time. My brother works for Coors and they will be building a parking structure in the next year behind where the stage is to allow for expansion in what is now the parking lot which is why it was never paved.

We keep hoping . . . and waiting . . .and hoping . . and waiting . . .
People are saying that Knott's Berry Farm will relocated their Boomerang to their Knott's Soak City USA location in San Diego. Probably because KSCUSA in SD needs a new appeal, and a boomerang would do good there and there is more than enough surrounding property and acreage that allows more than waterpark expansion. And Deja Vu's opening @ SFMM this May will put shame to KBF's Boomerang if it stays...
If they build it we will definitely come. Legolands for kids. Us big kids need fun too!!!

Taller please!
