Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this site and all that it represents, but I found something wrong with the way some posts have been handled by the moderators. I think everyone knows what I am talking about. I have noticed a great deal of censorship in some of the posts, many contributions to threads being deleted entirly. I consider myself to be a very tolerant individual of all people no matter the lifestyle, skin color, eating habits or what have you, which is why I think the censorship of these posts is wrong. The internet is a medium that represents a new forum for anonymous discussion, whether it be rollercoasters or sexual preference or both. To have anyone's opinions censored or cut out should apall all Coasterbuzz surfers alike. I thought the whole point of such topics was to braoden our range of opinions and tolerance. I'm sorry but every persons opinion is as valid as the next whether it be disgusting, hatefull, hurtfull, intolerant or discriminitory. As a majority we may not be in agreement with such people, but that certainly does not give us the right to cut them out of the conversation, or to look down on them as wrong. I understand that some topics may become personal, but if this should be the case, the ENTIRE thread should be edited, not just the parts that appeal to the mods to make everyone feel better and make it seem like a perfect little world. The only way we can really achieve this goal, if at all possible is not by censorship of opinions, (I thought we put that behind us) but by letting everyone voice their own opinions, and deciding for ourselves on the individual level what is right and what is wrong. That is what is truely fair and just.
