Are there state's without a coaster?

Wyoming, Arizona, and Oregon

Arizona has 2, but not much else in the ride department. Oregon has at least one also.
I don't think Vermont, New Mexico, Alaska, Kansas, Hawaii, or Mississippi have any.

Thats pretty many state's No wonder we don't get many or any hawaii or alaska buzzer's. Thanks guy's.

Where is the coaster at in Mississippi? I've lived here all my life and never heard of one.

Going back to the trusty book

Magic Golf/Biloxi Beach Amusement Park in Biloxi has a jr. steel coaster called Kiddie Coaster. A whopping 7 ft. high and 185 ft. long.

I don't think there are coasters in Ohio or texas either

Roller Coaster Database lists Haunted Mansion at Funland as a roller coaster, but I believe it is under continuous power not actually operating by gravity. If I get to Rehobeth this summer, I'll have to check it out to be certain.

If your going to say that; Ocean City, MD is right next to Delaware.

Oregon has a couple. There are two in Portland, one children's coaster and one Looping Jet (I believe). I can't believe they put a loop on a coaster that small.

There are two parks right next to each other in Salem, Oregon. The one has some sort of 'Jet' coaster (without a loop) and one park has a small terrain, bobsled type coaster. I'm not sure but I would assume they might have another childrens coaster somewhere down there also.

There are 6 states in the US without any type of true rollercoasters. North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Vermont, and Nebraska.

Oh yeah, throw Hawaii and Alaska in there too! :)

None of which surprise me besides Vermont. Initially, Hawaii does, but if you think about it, not a great place at all.

The District of Columbia has no coasters either :( but I guess since we dont have any representation in congress, we dont count as a state. Why do I pay Federal Incame taxes again?

That is interesting, though, about DC's situation. They get votes in the Electoral College, but don't have representation in Congress. (For those of you who don't know, they've even started a campaign on their license plates, using the phrase 2Hostyl added to his sig.)

There's some logic behind it, though... I may be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!), but wasn't the argument, when our government was being set up, that the capital shouldn't be a state or be in a state to avoid favoritism towards that state?
