is interesting, though, about DC's situation. They get votes in the Electoral College, but don't have representation in Congress. (For those of you who don't know, they've even started a campaign on their license plates, using the phrase 2Hostyl added to his sig.)
There's some logic behind it, though... I may be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!), but wasn't the argument, when our government was being set up, that the capital shouldn't be a state or be
in a state to avoid favoritism towards that state?
