Comtemporary Christian Music @ PKI?

It's my understanding that there will be a contemporary Christian Music festival at PKI this summer. Does anyone know when it will be?

I think I saw the info on the website, I missed seeing Cademan's call two weeks ago at SFKK. I couldnt stay and had to get home.

It's called Spirit Song, I think. It's a Thursday, Friday, and a Saturday in early July.

Knotts has one too.

I don't know but The Loud and Clear Dance Party USA just toured at SFoT and the hometown boys in relient K really enjoyed their stay at the park.

SFMM has Hallelujah Jamboree which is a contemp. christian fesival. I always go to Gospel Celebration tho which is in June this year instead of at the begining of October.

I wish SFSTL had a Christian Music Festival! Well, they do have individual concerts, so that is cool. I went to the Audio Adrenaline, Sonicflood, and Forty Days concert last saturday, and the Supertones are going to be there sometime as well as the Newsboys I think, so that is cool!!

On the other hand, if you're not attending the show, those festivals seem to be a BAD time to visit the parks. Granted, my only such experience is with a festival that was going on at Darien Lake a couple of years ago...but as strange as it may seem, the crowd that came for the 'Jesus rock' show seemed to be an unusually rowdy and destructive bunch. Maybe 'rowdy' isn't quite the correct word, but there was an awful lot of line jumping and vandalism going on. I think it's the "School Picnic Effect" when the park is crammed to the gills with allegedly like-minded people.

On the other hand, when the show is going on, the park gets really, really empty...!

Paramount's Carowinds has a one every summer -- I went last summer and it was impressive. This year's should be great -- they're bringing in
dc Talk and Newsboys.
