U.s. Based Companies

Just out of curiosity, what coaster companies are located in the U.S.?

And are there any foreign based companies that have U.S. offices?

The only fairly "active" companies I can think of are S&S/Arrow, Premier, GCI, GG, and maybe a few I'm forgetting. There might be some like RCCA, etc. but are those really active?

How about Zamperla? Or do they just have a US office for sales?

Zamperla is based in Italy.

Touchdown: You're right....but something tells me Morgan got out of coasters and is just doing flats. I could be wrong.

Just a few random thoughts...

- Chance-Morgan is still actively promoting its coasters.

- Both Zamperla and Vekoma have US sales offices.

- M&V is based in Canada but also keeps an office open in the US.

Setpoint? IntaRIDE LLC?

IntaRide is just the Intamin Ride Trade. Yes, they have US Offices, but they are based out of Switzerland.

Although they aren't major coaster companies, Wisdom Rides and Miler are US based.

Miler may not be a "major" coaster company per se, but I'm sure there's a bunch of little kids who'd strongly disagree with that statement. After all, many of them have gotten their first rides on the Taxi Jam coasters at the Paramount Parks.

True. Heck, I've been on three (and denied from two more) Miler kiddie coasters myself. The same goes for Wisdom. It seems like practically every carnival company out there has a Dragon Wagon, Go-Gator, or Orient Express. *** Edited 9/13/2006 7:44:55 PM UTC by Ben Nelson***

Miler's BEST work (for adults I mean)? Mice, and of course, those crazy *cliffhanger* models a la Celebration City and Casino Pier.

But the Miler stuff *I* like best are those two "one-off" PNW rides, KerSplash and Timber Mountain, rides that straddle the flume/coaster genre in ways that Mount Olympus' DtA (also a Miler, LOL) could only DREAM about... ;)
