PKI 04-22-01

This will be a short report. Good day altogether but some problems.

Face/OFF, Drop Zone, and Sob all skipped due having ridden them too much this year.

Top Gun-Verrrry good, one in front and once in back. Front ride not as good as the back one, due to some very very very loud screaming girls behind me. I think my ears are still ringing. ;)

Flight of Fear--They finally got more than one train running today but still not a quick line. One of my fav. steels now. Second half of the ride is much better than before.

Vortex--Still only two trains makes the line longer, not good. Running smooth today.

Beast--Two trains makes the wait much longer, but the ride more enjoyable. In the brake run they didn't slow us down to a crawl. The helix was amazing.

Racers--Forward--I rode it in the front for the first time, it is a much better ride than everybody says it is.
Backward--Only one train makes the wait not fun. I like the forwards better than it. New lap bars on some of the cars.

A good half day (only 4 hours) all and all. Still some kinks for the park to work out.

"I'm leaving on a rollercoaster . . ." oops "I'm leaving on a Jetplane . . ."

I was there today, for the Ace walkback. They didn`t walk us back until 9:45. We got two quick rides on it(there were three trains on it). King Cobra was slow because of only one train. flight of Fear was better with two trains, but the third one would help (same with Vortex) The backwards Racer`s red train has been off the past couple of weekends, sitting on the maintance track, which makes for a really long line. My three and a half houres at the park ended with Son of Beast and I rode every major coaster, including the Beast 2 times.

I was there all day today, and had a great time (as always). Lines were good in the morning, especially for the Gold Pass Early Ride Times, which allowed us to ride the low capacity rides like Face/Off and Drop Zone. Once the sun came out the lines became a bit longer, but still weren't unbearable. We got there at 9:15 and were able to walk onto all the coasters before to many people got there.
