? About B&M Big Boy Seats

Hey everyone, I had a quick question about the big boy seats on B&M rides. I know that the maximum chest size for their normal seats is 52". Does anyone have an idea on the chest size that the big boys can accomodate? Thanks in advance!

I am not really sure, but my suit coat size was about 54" when I went to SFMM/KBF for Solace this year and it was an easy click for me to get into Silver Bullet and Scream...

^its still uncalled for. As for the OP, anadotially, if you just barely dont fit on a normal B&M seat then these will accomidate you, however they only allow those 1 click above the normal limit to ride.

Just a little comment:
The big boy seats are not "tall boy seats", as I had my two worst rides with a crunched spine both in accidentally chosen "big boy seats".
Somehow the shoulder clearance seems to be lower - or else the restraint needs to be pushed down farther to lock tight.
It was a pain no matter what.

I have another question.. are they located one place in particular for every B&M or could I request it in line and be shown where to wait?

Usually there are 2 seats per train, one in row 4 and the other in 5 (at least on the ones Ive ridden.)

On inverts, they are easily recognized because they have 2 belts connecting the front of the seat to the OTSR instead of 1 like the rest of the seats.

Rows 3 & 6 are also "typical". Signage about this seems to be lacking in most parks though...

The signage probably isn't there gator because some people will take offense to it that it's displayed for everyone to know that you have to use these seats.

My guess is if you try a regular seat and don't fit, the rideops will redirect you to one of the big boy seats.

^ VERY true. Still, I'd think it's less *noticeable* than walking away after trying to fit on Millie or RoS...MANY times I've seen ops *switch riders* on Hulk to get someone larger into a "big boy" row...we're cool that way in Florida.. ;)
