IAAPA Convention Question

Does anyone know where the 2001 IAAPA convention is being held? Also, can anyone attend the convention?

It'll be in Orlando this year and next.

Anyone can go, and I think it's like $40 or $50 to get in to the show. Conferences are more, I think (not sure, as I had press credentials).

Keep in mind that as an enthusiast no one will be that anxious to talk to you if they're busy taking orders. It would also be very weird if you ran up to Walter and Claude to give them a big hug.

ORLANDO!!??!! Yes!! That is just what I was hoping for! I think I may be able to go that means!! I don't mind if people don't really talk to me, I would just love to stand on the side and listen to their coaster conversations. I eat that stuff up!

All of the good conversations either happen behind closed doors, or away from the show (just ask Agent Johnson).

So do you think it would be worth it to just go and observe, and POSSIBLY meet some of the brains behind our beauties, because just looking at the photos from last year was exciting!

When is the convention? Also were do you get the tickets,Ticketmaster? Do they usaully have the ride area like inside the dome last year,and is that included in the ticket price?

It's in November, and they'll have info on www.iaapa.org at some point.

Sure, shake hands with your heroes, just keep in mind that they're there to sell rides.

I do think it's OK to mercilessly consume free samples of food and Coke (even if Coke didn't have booth babes like Pepsi did).
