American Eagle @ SFGAm

Okay if you have ever gone on American Eagle in the front seat do you ever notice how the whole left end seems to lift of the track? I love the front seat of this coaster but it freaks me out...Is it still like this? AND if it is why? And also do you notice of at the top it just hangs there and doesn't drop....any thought as to why it drops faster sometimes? I know Viper @ SFGAm just hangs there too, but even longer...thats why I hate the front seat to that coaster....what are your thoughts?

Yeah, it lifts alot,, if you notice, the wheels on wooden coasters, are lower, like, they arent tight like normal steel coasters, cause how its built,, so you actually jump on the track,, if youre in the back row,, you feel it alot,,

And the Viper, since it was open has done that,, if you look , in the morning, like right when the ride opens,, its very fast,,the chain, but the slows down,, and the Eagle, the reason why its slow sometimes, its cause the chains old,, like the red used to pass the blue up just going up, when we would race, (red) wed have to go like 15 seconds after them. And when they get new chains. its really quick..

I doubt it has to do with the chain. More like, the speed the motor is running. I've noticed the train jumping, and it has been for years. I rember the first time I noticed, I was afraid it would fall off at some point (this is before I knew about woodies having upstops, and before I was a coaster enthusiast)
BTW, Subbie, the post you made has a logic level of 1 out of 10, and is almost all not understandable.

I thought the train only jumps on the red side. I have never had this happen to me on the blue side. The first time it did happen to me, it scared me to death. I knew the American Eagle was old, so I thought there was a problem. Then I went on it again, and it happend again. It can probably scare general people really bad. But I love it.

The front seat on the eagle rocks, on how you get to see the track!! It is thrilling on how the train kind of jumps when it gets on the lift hill! It is definite that I will be going on the AE my first to the park. Hopefully they have the red side going, instead of the blue. It ticks me off when all they have is just the blue going!

Hmmm...maybe I should try the Eagle's front seat this year. I think I've only been in the last 3 cars, looking for that airtime in the back. So how is it in the front compared to the back. Is the view and look on the face of your neighbor when the car lifts up worth the wait?
