"new" B&M inversion on Hulk?

For those who have ridden Hulk, the first "corkscrew" isn't really a corkscrew, is it? After you finish the inversion, it continues downward for a while before entering the second vertical loop, instead of leveling off like a normal corkscrew. Anyone else notice this?

I didn't know it ever was a corckscrew. I always thought it was a zero g roll. That is what the videos say anyway. Whatever it is it doesn't really change the ride.

I think of it as a flat spin, a stretched out corkscrew. When I think of a Zero-g-roll, I think going straight through the roll, but Hulks 'flatspin' goes up a twists down more.

I think you guys might be a little bit confused. The first inversion out of the tunnle is a zero-G roll, but the first corkscrew, after the helix doesn't level off, but I still think of it as a corkscrew. If the way it enters and exits the inversion makes it a new inversion, then there are no two inversions alike.

So after you circle the tunnel? That one? Ok, that reallly is a corckcrew, what else wouldn't it be? Otherwise it is simply a innovated corckscrew with an extra thing. It is a corcksrew with a drop.

Wouldn't it be called a 'Wingover?' PGA's Top Gun has one. A 'Wingover' is defined as a 'stretched-out Vertical Loop.' I.e. Hulk's is a combination of a loop & corkscrew. Yeah, I wonder why they didn't put in a Zero-G Roll istead of this.

That isn't a Corkscrew, just for the record there aren't any Corkscrews on B&M coasters. They have FLATSPINS, which is similar to a Corkscrew. It actually an improvement over a Corkscrew, Intamin coasters also have FLATSPINS.

I thought a flatspin was exactly the same as a corkscrew, just like a boomerang was the same as a cobra roll.

the thing on hulk is a zero g roll because you feel weightlessness or zero g's. a barrel roll is different because you are just goin straight and a corkscrew is very similar but not the same thing. In a corkscrew you turn to the side a little as you begin the inversion while a zero-g roll you go straight up and spin like a barrel roll at top and then come back down. B&M calls their zero-g rolls flatspins and dont make corkscrews.

A boomerang is the same thing as a cobra roll just like the flatspin is mostly the same as a corkscrew, but it depends on which company you have. B&M has cobra rolls(are wider than boomerangs and hang further down), flat spins(a mild variation on the corkscrew), and zero-g rolls which are different from barrel rolls but are of the same concept. The first inversion out of the tunnel is a zero-g roll because you do feel weightless and that's what B&M claim it as(enough said). The other inversion is a corkscrew, there is no rule that says it must level out after it inverts!
