A clue? Thunder Canyon's queue is being moved for 06.

I really don't see a water coaster. I can see a major coaster and then a family-oriented one though. Not a kiddie coaster but maybe one of those insane wild mouses with the vertical lifts. I can't remember what they are called but they look awesome!

How would the rest of us notice if the rest of us didn't know what it was?

And there lies the irony of message boards. People tend to focus on all the yelling of "500ft"!!!!!! and all the wild "whopper of the week" guesses. Someone comes along and calmy gives a quiet, rational guess that *makes sense* but isn't outrageous, and that post is completely ignored.

I understand what you're saying, but even if the post hadn't been ignored, most of us would have no way of knowing how valid it was or not considering most of us still don't know what's coming (but then again, that group of people seems to be shrinking daily.)

Someone hook me up with a PM...I won't leak anything, I promise...

I think that the "right guess" had to do with the mid/large size coaster with a new area as a whole including some smaller flats and family oriented rides. If you look at the trend of SFGAdv over the last two years, this seems to be a great idea! Not only puting in a larger scale attraction but also adding a few extras that the entire family can enjoy (i.e. The Golden Kingdom and Bugs Bunny Natl Park). When Jeff mentioned the "one person on a another site commment" over on PB no one on that site had mentioned anything of that nature yet, but it had been mentioned here.

Wonder how long this thread will get?! Well, does this new "coaster" fit the pattern that Cedar Point has been building rides, both location and size? I am glad to see them building something toward the back, to help the lines near the front become shorter.

Yeah, it actually had been mentioned - by me.

Going back a number of comments, I belive the Snake River Falls water is filtered/chlorinated while the water in what was formerly the Swan Boat was anything but clean.

If it is, in fact, some type of water ride then I hope they decide to filter/chlorinate it too. I would ride Thunder Canyon much more often if the water didn't smell like Lake Erie perch.

New OnPoint! blog entry stating a whole heaping helping of nothingness, essentially. Worth a quick look, regardless.

"The path always taken is not necessarily the best."

If we're somehow (poorly) evoking the Robert Frost poem here....ugh. Reading gobeldygook like this just makes me cringe. *** Edited 5/3/2006 6:21:24 PM UTC by matt.*** *** Edited 5/3/2006 6:22:39 PM UTC by matt.***

My guess is simple - they are going to move one or more of the pathways for this project.

I also had what I would call a 'rational' guess about this project. I wonder if it was me???

Yeah, I agree the path...as in midway may be drastically changed. Maybe we'll even see a brand new midway starting at Thunder Canyon's entrance and circling back towards Mean Streak's station. Could be cool. I just hope that if there is new or changed midway type stuff, it is plenty shady and tree lined and not similar to what happened around TTD.

Hmm...pretty vague. If T&T are going to tease on the blog, c'mon...throw us a friggin bone here! I think they could learn a trick or two from another theme park's blogger.

The whole, 'path' phrase could be interpreted so many ways its not even worth dissecting. If it's pertaining to moving a path, or midway, and that literal, then that's just sad. Honestly I dont really care...what gets built will get built...but if they are going to play this game, at least make it fun. *** Edited 5/3/2006 7:06:19 PM UTC by 40belowbeef***

^How many more bones do you need? They have given out a lot already you just have to piece them together. Not to mention that several people already on here have blabbed what the ride is going to be.

I agree with whoever said it that the group of people not knowing what this is going to be is getting smaller by the day.
