Coaster's Restraints

B&M makes great restraints on thier Hypercoasters but the shoulder harnesses on the loopers can really hurt your head and neck. Intamin's new restraints, like the Force, and SUE rule. I like how they are able to pull them down as hard as you want and the stay. On others you always can't get the last click. Who makes the best restraints.

I agree with you about the Intamin restraints. They are extremely comfortable for the ride, and still make you feel secure. The worst restraints on a coaster, however, are the lap bars on Flight of Fear and Son Of Beast. They are secure and hold you in great, but if you're about six feet tall or slightly overwieght, you'd better break out the Crisco, because you're going to have some problems getting in to them, especially on Son Of Beast.

That's how hercules seats are. They have to have the narrowest dividers I've ever ridden in.

I completely agree. The first time I rode SFNE's Superman, I was amazed by the way the restraints work. Definitely a cool innovation.

I'm a skinny teen(95 pds and 5'3") so I don't have any problems with the SoB restraints. I hate horse collars thought and that is the "real" name for them. I think Arrow D. gave them that name. Anywho I loved the MF ones and I think every coaster should have em' like that.
