Tatsu pretzel Loop finished

WOW.... I really want to ride tatsu... i mean that pretzel loop is huge its bigger than the total height of the Superman Ultimate Flights first drop!!!

It is in the perfect location. I can't wait to ride this, hopefully next month. :)

On another note, WHY would they make that picture a gif?

I'm going to be hitting Knotts and SFMM the first weekend in May, I can't wait to ride this thing! I just hope most of the coasters will be open to support its debut...deja vu, X, Revolution...etc

Looks like another really great ride that will never be open (lol). Superman at GAdv has way too much downtime.

Tatsu really does look amazing. Those pics make the park look amazing too. I wish SFMM well.

In other great news....

Someone at SFMM either bought a new camera, or learned how to use the one they had! lol

That makes me really wish I lived on the west coast.

Good God. I almost blacked out in S:UF's pretzel, how is anybody going to be able to handle that thing?

Tatsu looked like it was gonna be one sweet ride...I don't hate the flying position, it's better than standing, and this will likely rate as "best in breed".

Business-wise, THIS is the coaster that shouldn't have been built, IMO...considering the park (SFMM) and it's demographics vs. SFoG and IT'S demographics....maybe the quote shoulda read "no more Tatsus"... ;)

Nonetheless, beautiful ride...B&M does seem to do ALOT of their best work working within space constraints/odd terrain...S:KC, TG:TJC, DD (well, Fire, LOL)... :)

We said the B&M flyers needed a better layout, we GOT one...maybe someone WAS listening? Just not to the bean counters (they're more boring than *we* are)... :)

I can't stand the beautiful mess of coaster track around this entire park. They deserve a lot of respect for adding all the art pieces alone and I'm serious about that.

This is pretty sick. I cant disagree the ride is beauiful no doubt. I myself wish i lived closer to the west coast.

I wonder if they are gonna replant all those trees they took out for construction or leave it as is.

New pics of the finished turn around at the end of the ride and the last inline twist. Its almost connected to the pretzel... i think this ride is sure to be finished in the next week... if they finally connect the missing sections that goes sorta over the station... anyone know why that part is taking so long????

That part -- the approach to the zero-g -- is going up last because they still need to bring cranes thru that area.

The end of the ride has been finished.... the pretzel is now connected to the inline... all thats left is the section between the corkscrew and the zero-g. The cranes have been moved as well...... I guess by today, tomorrow, or the end of the weekend the ride will be finished...

April 2, 2006 was the expected conclusion date for construction and is actually 1 day ahead of schedule.

Wow, Tatsu in person looks monstrous and looks to be an amazing ride, I just hope it really delivers the goods. This winged beast will be my second Flyer, the first being S:UF in Georgia.

I still can't belive how good this thing looks. I wouldn't of expected Tatsu to look as nice in that setting. Now if I could only figure out a way for student loans to pay for a trip out there.
